Music Sustainability Forum 2025 – Application is Live!
We are thrilled to share that the Department of Performing Arts will host the 2025 Music Sustainability Forum on Georgetown’s campus this spring. Policymakers, academics, artists/activists, legal experts, and cultural institution leaders will come together for a full day of invitation-only, closed-door discussion and programming to explore issues affecting musicians and music sustainability.

Such an event would not be complete without the participation of scholars whose interests align with our mission. We invite applications from junior scholars and advanced graduate students whose research engages with policy-related work on music sustainability, particularly within the United States. To apply, please visit this application form. All applications are due Wednesday, March 19, and accepted participants will be notified of their acceptance by Friday, March 21.
Georgetown University will cover travel and lodging expenses for accepted applicants.
