Music Alumni

Music has long been an integral part of a liberal arts education at Georgetown. Since the inception of the American Musical Culture degree program in 2007, more and more students have chosen to focus their studies on music, employing perspectives from the fields of musicology and ethnomusicology, film and media studies, public policy, politics, and social justice. The ongoing growth of the Music Program supports rigorous interdisciplinary study, as well as participation in our many vocal and instrumental ensembles, offering majors, minors, and other active students a chance to weave camaraderie, artistic expression, and creative collaboration into their college experience.

Here you can learn what friends and classmates are doing in their professional lives and stay up to date on upcoming Music events and initiatives.

Stay in Touch

We invite Alumni of the Music Program and those for whom music was central to their Georgetown lives, to connect, share memories, and glimpses of your current work.
