Georgetown University Dance Company’s 2024 spring dance concert “ECHO” explores the
many ways in which memories and movement reverberate and travel between people and
places—leaving lasting impressions and providing space to find grounding in one’s self or in a
community. “ECHO” suggests that meaning and value can be made and remade artistically and encourages the dancers and audience alike to consider what most resonates with them.
This performance will feature dances in a variety of styles including 8 student works and 1
faculty work, as well as works by GUDC’s 2023- 24 Professional Guest Artists-in-Residence,
Tiffanie Carson and Kathryn Pilkington.
