PERFORMANCE SPACES
Gaston Hall, the main performance space at Georgetown University, is a vital part of the Washington, D.C. performing arts landscape as well a center for University activities. World-class artists such as Placido Domingo, Frederica Von Stade, Mstistlav Rostropovich, and jazz great Billy Taylor have appeared there. A wide variety of folk, ethnic, classical, and popular concerts are scheduled regularly by outside sponsors throughout the year.

Other performance spaces on campus include the Copley Formal Lounge, and McNeir Hall, home of the FRIDAY MUSIC free concert series.

PRACTICE SPACE in Reynolds, New South and LXR practice rooms is available to full-time G.U. students, faculty and staff, and students who are enrolled in lessons or in one of the major performing ensembles. Priority will be given first to music majors and minors, applied music students and ensemble participants, the general student population and faculty and staff, in that order.  The Reynolds, New South and LXR Practice rooms may be reserved through the Program in Performing Arts located in Davis Performing Arts Center, Room 108 in the beginning of each semester. Check here for policies.
