Opening Ceremony*

Following an opening ceremony, Buddhist monks from the Mystic Arts of Tibet begin the week-long construction of an intricate sand mandala painting which will be completed and dispersed during a community celebration on Saturday, April 21st.

A day of music from the Christian tradition

An ongoing video diary that invites participants to express their views on art, justice & peace. A short film, edited together from these testimonials, will be screened at the closing ceremony.

Patrons interested in attending may reserve tickets over the phone by calling 202.687.ARTS between the hours of 11 AM - 3 PM, Monday thru Saturday or by coming in person at the Davis Center Box Office. Four tickets max per person. No web reservations, please.
