Opening Ceremony
Location: Gonda Theatre
Join us as we kick off the Children of Abraham Interfaith Arts Festival in grand style with an Opening Ceremony at 5:30 PM. Featuring welcoming remarks from Georgetown University President Jack DeGioia, Dean Jane McAuliffe and others and roof raising performances by GU Concert Choir phenom Michael Maliakel (‘10) and the cast of the 2006 Theater Program production The Gospel At Colonus. Then, at 6:30 PM, join Georgetown University students, faculty, staff and community members for a Mediterranean flavored reception in the lobby of The Davis Performing Arts Center.
