Regional Premiere of a New Work! Since 1976, the internationally renowned Liz Lerman Dance Exchange has performed groundbreaking new dance works on major stages internationally, throughout the U.S., & at home in the communities of Maryland, Washington DC, & the Mid-Atlantic region. The company's new piece, 613 Radical Acts of Prayer, continues the long history of making dances that address questions of faith. This regional premiere of a unique work-in-progress utilizes both ancient & contemporary concepts of prayer to explore the intersection of ritual & social action, of faith & restless questioning.
Special Notes: Proceeded by an opening ceremony in honor of Father Royden B. Davis at 5:30 pm followed by a 6:30 pm reception.
