Auditions for The Georgetown University Dance Company will take place on Monday September 5th (Labor Day) in the large exercise room at Yates Fieldhouse. Auditions begin promptly at 2pm; the room will open to auditioning dancers at 1:30pm. Please plan to arrive early in order to sign in and warm up. Please wear proper dance attire (preferably a leotard and tights, but other form-fitting clothing such as shorts or jazz pants are ok) and secure your hair so we can see your face. Wear comfortable shoes and note that you will be given a chance to change them between dance styles during the audition. The audition will consist of ballet (including barre and centre) as well as modern and jazz.
If possible, please bring a headshot of yourself to the audition, otherwise we will snap a picture of you when you sign in.
