A musically rich and lyrical adaptation of the Sophoclean tragedy, The Gospel at Colonus stages the story of Oedipus' final days in the context of a Pentecostal Service. Part ritual, part theatrical experience, part religious event, the production celebrates the redeeming power of love and the sense of oneness found in community. Poetic storytelling and lively Gospel music, tempered by the coolness of Greek tragedy results in potent civic and cathartic theatre. The Gospel at Colonus is a collaboration between the Theater Program and Black Theater Ensemble.

A Workshop Production of an Image Based, Original Play about Ann Frank & the Holocaust. Co-sponored with Jewish Civilization, Jewish Chaplaincy, CERES & Donors. Right As Rain juxtaposes an expressionistic retelling of the Anne Frank story with the trial at Nuremberg of Arthur Seyss-Inquart, the Nazi official most directly responsible for the round-up of Jews in the Netherlands.
