The year is 1883 and the residents of Donegal, Ireland are confronted with a British invasion; not only of troops, but of ideas. Characters of both nationalities wrestle with issues of language and identity as playwright Friel sets the stage for a conflict that will dominate the island’s politics for the next century. Join Nomadic Theatre as we celebrate the first student-directed main-stage production in the Davis Performing Arts Center!
