Technical Director, Theater Program

Robbie Hayes joined the Georgetown Faculty in January of 2005. He has been working in the Chicago Professional Theatre since 1997. He has been part of over 150 productions with more than 50 theatre companies. Robbie moved to Chicago in 1997 after graduating from Trinity University. He was a Project Manager at Chicago Scenic Studios for his first year in Chicago. In the fall of 1998, Robbie became the Technical Director at Northlight Theatre. Robbie started Northlight’s first full time scene shop. Over the coarse of the next 6 years, Robbie and his shop built scenery for over 120 productions throughout the Chicagoland Area. In addition to his technical production work, Robbie has experience in Scenic Design, Lighting Design, and Directing.
